Apple Configurator: Delay Enrollment Profile Installation
Automating the enrollment of iOS Devices is common practice. The caveat is that the iOS device needs to connect to Wi-Fi and receive an IP Address or the Enrollment Profile will fail.
By changing the setting described below, you will delay the installation of the enrollment profile.
1. Quit Apple Configurator, if it is running.
2. Execute the following command in Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.configurator EnrollmentProfileInstallationDelay 15.0
The results of the command will delay the installation for 15 seconds while the iOS device coonects to the Wi-Fi and recieves an IP Address. You may change the amount of time of delay, i.e. Change 15.0 to 30.0 for a 30 second delay.
