Cache Me Out 1.0 is a universal binary. It can be installed on Mac computers with an Intel processor or Mac computers with Apple silicon.
App Requirements:
- macOS Ventura 13.3 or later
- Administrator name and password on Mac
- Jamf Software Server (JSS) and Jamf Pro services in the Cloud
- /Library/Application Support/JAMF/Waiting Room/—Contains temporary storage for Cached Packages.
The purpose of this app is to copy all the cached files in the Waiting Room folder on a client Mac computer to the current logged-in users Desktop. The app will create a folder on the currently logged-in users Desktop, named “Cache Me Out”, that contains the entire contents of the Waiting Room folder. The original files will remain in the Waiting Room folder. There are times when you need to download files from your cloud distribution point to your Mac computer. This app eliminates the need to use the command line to get the files to your Desktop. Administrative credentials are required as it needs access files that are not permitted by standard users.
