CrashPlan error "Out of memory", or not enough memory causing the application to keep quitting and restarting.
Solution:
Yosemite Server (Server.app 4.0) supports SMB3 by default. You can add encryption and digital signing as well.
To verify your connection to that specific share is encrypted, run this command in Terminal.app

Only Macs with AES-NI (Advanced Encryption Standard New Instructions) will auto convert to Core Storage when you upgrade to Yosemite.
I have seen where you try and run the changeip command for simple reasons. IE sudo changeip -checkhostname
But you get a message that the command can not be found.
sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Install\ OS\ X\ 10.10/ --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/ --nointeraction
